HElp! Suggestions Please Im Hurting?

Im wrking a 10hr grave shift and im only running on 2hrs of sleep! any suggestions?
Answer:
Step out for fresh air at times if you can. Drink caffiene if like caffinated drinks and above all keep moving.
Pretend that you have just got really sick and go home. You're no good to anyone when you are deliriously tired!

did you not know you had this shift before? poor planing on your part makes it hard to think it's an emergency now..
I would suggest get thru it tongight and plan yoru sleep patterns better next time...good luck!
lack of planning on your part should not create a crisis on anyone else- plan ahead .

For now - drink coffee, tea whatever - BUT drink one cup of cold H2O with it as well. Keeps you from dehydrating your body which makes you feel more tired
RESIGN. it's the only way. if you're not really happy and you're hurting, then why are you still doing it?
Do not get this little sleep, you need at lest 6-8 hours a night. Start getting more sleep. For tonight just stick it out, or fake being sick if your job is not vital or safety-related.
get your 2nd wind. Sleep once in a while before work. Coffee for right now...jumping jacks...play a prank on someone else...see if you can put all your clothes on inside out before anyone catches you naked...if they do - trust me...you'll be awake.
Sleep more.

I'm going to agree with the play sick and go home suggestion. It is better than screwing up and getting fired, or driving hours later and getting killed in a car accident.

If you have to stay, tell the boss you feel ill and take 15 minutes to hide and take a nap in the restroom. Take a power nap on the pot, but be sure not to fall asleep. Set your alarm on your watch if necessary.

sleep in office hours also. it will allow u to take rest howmany hours u like... :)
