Help! i have taken my driving test 2 times and have failed cuz of nerves.?

i have taken everything thats herbal. any advice would be very helpful. thank you x
Answer:
You are too nervous to be in control of a vehicle on a public road. You may have an accident and hurt yourself or others.
When you have more experience you will not be nervous and pass.Be patient.
Take control of your nerves like deep breathing just before the test?third time lucky
Best advise is to get ur father's or mate's car. Go to somewhere really isolated away from the city where you can find a flat surface.

Practice driving all by yourself and in 2 days flat you will learn to drive a car. Of course driving in traffic is another matter for which you to be with a instructor in his car.
Well the thing to do is to be relaxed and not worry for the outcome. Just do it in the moment you do it. And if you fail then you do it again. Is a matter of practice. Have a friend help you in letting you drive around and do the things you need to do until your comfortable with it.
I'd be interested what answers you get as I'm reconsidering retaking mine again for the 8th time after failing with silly mistakes due to those bl@sted nerves!

This may seem too simple, but try it.
Have you noticed how fast and shallow you breathe when anxiety hits?
Consciously force yourself to breathe slowly and deeply from your diaphram (tummy).
This will have an automatic calming effect.
Do this while exam taking, and any other time.
My son had the same problem and took his test 9 times before he passed.
There is no instant cure, try and do deep breathing exercises and just try to stay calm. Remember you can always repeat a test and its not the end of the world if you don't pass.
Good luck!
buy some bath bombs and have a relaxing bath and then go to bed early the night before. don't think that you won't pass because that sort of attitude makes you fail!! GOOD LUCK ON YOUR NEXT TRY! :-D
Relaxation techniques are what you need. Can't tell you what they are, but look it up on the net. It really is a case of mind over matter on this one. You are probably a confident driver, but just go to pieces on the test. Some people are the same with written exams. They can be the best student, but can't deal with test conditions. Whatever you do, good luck!
I'm usually a nervous person when it come down to things like this but a week leading up to my test i did so much running around. When it came to the test i passed, after my third attempt. My instructor said i showed no sign of nerves. I said 'probably 'cos i'm too tired'.
hi there, there is a herbal remedy called rescue remedy, you can get it from boots or holland and barratt, it helps calm you down, its also perfectly safe as its all natural ingredients, hope this helps and good luck for next time.
Primal SCREAM! Therapy.
Just before the examination, perhaps even in the car, Scream, shout, howl, just tear your voice to bits. Your voice should be hoarse and that little voice inside you will sound pretty worn-out to. Trust me?
DRUGS and meditation before the next test mild tranks or something from the docs
I was EXACTLY the same as you! Luckily I passed on the third time. Personally I used 'Calms' - a herbal remedy from Boots. Make sure you take it an hour before your actual test. So just before you start your lesson before the test. - As I realised that it takes about 40 minutes to kick in. I also used Bach Rescue Remedy - spray, right before the test too. (Also available from Boots.)
Don't worry, by the third time you will know exactly what to expect from your test. And they do say the more times it takes for you to pass your test - the better driver you become! Good luck - you'll pass third time!!
just imagine the examiner naked !
See www.drweil.com %26 the section on anxiety at http://www.ezy-build.net.nz/~shaneris... on page 6, and practise one of the relaxation methods on page 2: mindfulness breathing %26 mantra repetition are ideal for beforehand. Did you try chamomile tea or scullcap or Arctic root?
Have a mild sedative 30 mins before the next test
Hey,

There is some good advice on here about what you can do to calm your nerves.

The thing is people do get nervous, do not think that that makes you different or stupid, it doesn't.

My sister passed her test after like the 8th time. That was because she was nervous.

It may help you to get a family member to take you on the course that you last did, and act as the examiner.

Ask them to do it once sensibly, then again making it funny.

That may put you at ease.

Hope it helps.
There is usually a lot of nonsense spouted about dealing with 'nerves' before exams/interviews/whatever. Try deep breathing, meditation, positive thinking = all a load of rubbish - if you are the type of person who gets nervous before such a event - then adopting the lotus position and breathing through one nostril is NOT going to stop you ending up on the toilet with a runny bottom.

There are all kinds of medication that can be prescribed - all cloud judgment and impair motor functionality. There is however one proven 100% effective thing you can take and that is theanine.

This is available from good health stores or online. Taken a couple of hours before the 'event' - you will experience a dramatic sense of euphoria, no degradation in mental function and real relaxation. It is simply a natural amino acid, there are no side-effects whatsoever and it really works.
deep breathing for about 15 minutes b4 the test is good. also do deep breathing everyfew hours if u can..
I think you need to detach urself from the situation %26 say hey, it's just a test, not the end of the world...it'snothing to fear really, I took my test 2 times %26 passed the 2nd time but I didn't worry about it.
u'll probably pass next time, perhaps ur nerves is due to not feeling confident, so make sure you practice %26 learn everything so u r cofident u r able to do everything %26 then there's nothing to worry about!!
I pray that you have a kind %26 understanding tester who'll make you feel at ease whilst taking the test.

PS%26gt;also ask if u could have someone to sit at the back (but they're not allowed to talk) to help u relax.
